SUMMARY
Reporting to the Community Officer, the incumbent helps to organize and facilitate program activities, ensures that activities and the team function smoothly, enforces policies and procedures, and ensures the safety of participants.
DUTIES
- Organize activities
- Facilitate activities
- Enforce policies and procedures, and ensure the safety of participants
- Complete required forms and reports
- Monitor activities and keep coordinators informed of how activities are progressing
- Act as a liaison between program activities and coordinators
- Check the condition of equipment on a daily basis
- Perform any other duties assigned by coordinators
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies in a work-related field and returning to school in September 2026
Certifications:
- General first aid
Driver’s license:
- A valid class 7(2) driver’s licence
Experience:
- Acceptable level of experience with target clientele
Skills:
- Strong written and spoken French and English
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, as part of a team, and without continuous supervision
- Strong customer-service focus
- Good organizational skills, initiative and judgment
- Easy rapport with people
- Good leadership skills

SALARY
- As per Policy A-29 on the hiring of students
DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT
- Period of sixteen (13) weeks starting on June 2026
