Activity Facilitator - Student

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Community Officer, the incumbent prepares and ensures animation of program activities. He also ensures participant safety and compliance with policies and procedures.
DUTIES

- Ensures participant safety and compliance with policies and procedures
- Conducts a weekly equipment inventory
- Performs any related tasks assigned by the coordinator
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Must be attending school in a full time program and must be returning to school in September 2026
Certification:
- General First Aid
Experience:
- Level of experience acceptable to target clientele
Skills:
- Good written and oral communication skills in both official languages
- Able to work under pressure, independently, as part of a team and without supervision
- Innate sense of customer service quality
- Able to easily interact with people
- Good sense of organization, initiative and good judgment
General requirements:
- Physical ability to perform tasks related to the position (setting up equipment, storing recreational gear, installing barriers, transporting bins, etc.)
- Ability to travel to the various facilities where activities take place
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability
- Ability to maintain a satisfactory level of work performance
- Adherence to confidentiality rules and the organizational values of the City of Dieppe
WORK SCHEDULE
- Variable (flexible – nights and weekends) – approximately 4 to 8 hours per week
REMUNERATION
- Based on Policy A-29 – Process for Hiring Students
DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT
From September 2026 to end of May 2027
